Prehistoric Farm Riding Dinosaurs: Partner and Stage Checks
Check the Prehistoric Farm Subadult riding requirement, select a partner, and distinguish maturity from device-specific mount controls.
Prehistoric Farm riding is documented from Subadult and later. Choose a dinosaur as partner and check its life stage before trying to ride. A newly hatched creature and a grown riding partner are different milestones in the ranch loop.
This gameplay video shows the broader collection and care loop that produces ranch creatures. Use it as context for growth, rather than assuming every new hatch can immediately be ridden.
Reach the documented riding stage
The life stages are Newborn, Juvenile, Subadult, Adult and Elder. Subadult is the first documented rideable stage, so the opening hatch is not itself a riding unlock. Keep Belly above half full while the creature grows toward that point.
Growth depends on compatible food and fullness. Selecting the creature as partner does not establish an exception to that rule, and an incubator timer no longer describes its progress after hatching.
Select the creature you intend to ride
A selected partner follows the player. Check that the creature you chose is the one whose stage you inspected. The keyboard reference identifies G as My Dinos, but it does not establish an exact mount key or a full menu path.
For mounting, use the ride interaction shown by the live game for your device. This guide does not assign an unverified keyboard, controller or touch input. A stage check is useful even when that interface differs across devices.
Separate an immature creature from an input problem
If the animal is Newborn or Juvenile, continue ranch care rather than searching for a different mount button. If it is Subadult or later, check the selected partner and the available ride interaction. Those are different questions and should not be solved by guessing one universal key.
Use the partner guide for the following relationship or dinosaur growth for stage timing. Keep the selected creature's identity, stage and actual interaction in view so a ride attempt is grounded in the animal you are using.
