Prehistoric Farm Guides: First Dinosaur and Ranch Loop

Start with one creature rather than every island at once. These guides connect a Cambrian fossil set, Dr. Ivy’s egg exchange, incubation and ranch care. Choose the beginner route for a first session, the loop explanation for context, or practical tips when a familiar task is waiting on you.

The ordinary loop starts at a marked fossil Dig Site. Hold the shovel input and release in green for a better find, collect a completed creature set, then take it to Dr. Ivy’s DNA Lab. The lab produces an egg; an incubator warms it until it hatches. Each stage has a different required action, so collecting more inventory is not always the right response to stalled progress.

The beginner guide follows one Cambrian creature through the opening route. How to Play explains how that route connects with boats and other sea activities. Tips and Tricks arranges collection, incubation and feeding without promising a hidden speed boost. If your tool works but finds seem inconsistent, choose the focused digging explanation. If your dinosaur has already hatched, care matters more than repeating the extraction step. Start with the guide that addresses the current condition rather than changing every part of the loop.
